ZKonya Metropolitan Municipality continues its controls at businesses with the aim of ensuring that wastewater treatment facilities operate efficiently.
The controls, carried out in cooperation with the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Konya Metropolitan Municipality KOSKİ General Directorate and Karatay Municipality, were organized with the aim of ensuring the efficient operation of the sewage system and KOSKİ Wastewater Treatment Facilities within the framework of the Regulation on Discharge of Wastewater to the Sewage System.
During the inspection, wastewater samples were collected from businesses located in the Karatay region with a high wastewater pollution load; Odor samples were also taken by workers from the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.
Konya Metropolitan Municipality KOSKİ General Directorate will increasingly continue its efforts to protect the environment and pass on a cleaner world to future generations.
