Mehmet Tolga Akalın Supported Rıdvan Uz

Keşanlı Mehmet Tolga Akalın, who was the general leader candidate at the last Ordinary General Assembly of the İYİ Party, stated that the expulsion of Çanakkale MP Rıdvan Uz because he expressed his opinions was not welcomed in the closed group meeting held yesterday and made a statement supporting Rıdvan Uz.

Akalın's statement is as follows:

“While we admired and supported our party's attitude in the constitutional debates, the fact that the former chairman took an attitude that would openly and deliberately harm the party of which he was the founding leader shocked and saddened everyone in our party. At the closed group meeting held today, the controversial proposal made by our Çanakkale MP Rıdvan Uz against this attitude was unfortunately answered by his expulsion.

First of all, it should be said that closed group meetings are held so that everyone can express their opinions openly. If this is the outcome of expressing your opinion, there is no point in holding a closed meeting. This attitude does not suit our Chairman, Mr. Dervişoğlu, and has given the palace mentality a position in the eyes of the İYİ Party. Also Mr. He also encouraged efforts to portray the Chairman as under tutelage. On the other hand, while we have the opportunity to break the hands that want to destroy our party from inside and outside, and people have an expectation, such an attack also defeats our expectation of renewing our damaged ties with our voters and establishing new ties.

Finally, this decision will go down in history, Mr. Chairman Devlet Bahçeli and Mr. There is a possibility to list Rıdvan Uz as Ali Güngör; Those who expelled the late Ali Güngör have lost their hearts. That's why I have to say, Mr. General Leader; Do not harm your companions and companions in order to please the ambitious people who are looking for cover for their ill-fated journey. We owe a debt of power to this great movement, and we cannot tread the difficult path with soft-hearted people.

While there are two major political forces trying to divide our party, shame on us if we can only afford those who embrace the party, not those who serve those groups. If anyone from this political movement is to be expelled, it is those who attempt to serve our movement, which was established as a result of a huge political effort, as an appetizer to the palace tables. They are the ones who keep hundreds of thousands of our virtuous members walking with their heads bowed. As Erdoğan redesigns politics, we expect fidelity to the accurate statements given in our group speeches. If we are going to take refuge in our orphaned Turkishness and challenge the palaces, we should not leave the Turks orphans.

“We will not let go.”
