Izocam Sailing Team, which sailed to the seas to draw attention to global climate change, the importance of sustainability and the right to a good life with the motto "Insulation for Today, Investment for a Sustainable Tomorrow", made a name for itself in the races it participated in May. The successful team, which became the star of the race as the only Turkish boat to complete the 3-hour challenging route in the 5th Presidential International Yacht Races (Halicarnassus Cup), where it came in 55rd place, won the 6th round of the Schüco BAYK Bodrum Winter Trophy organized by Bodrum Open Sea Sailing Club (BAYK). He completed the 2rd and last leg in XNUMXnd place and took home the cup.
Izocam Sailing Team, which sailed in the Halicarnassus Cup held in Bodrum between 19-25 May, dazzled with its success! In this challenging open sea race, which started from Bodrum Yalıkavak, went around Simi and Rhodes islands and returned, the team competed with great determination in the 55-hour challenge, completing the route as the only Turkish boat of the race and writing a success story on the waves. İzocam Sailing Team took home the 3rd prize after a fierce competition!
The 6th and last leg of the Schüco BAYK Bodrum Winter Trophy, which consists of six stages and each leg covers two days, took place on 25-26 May. İzocam Sailing Team finished this race in 2nd place with a high performance. 13rd in the first leg of the trophy held on 14-3 January, 3nd in the 4nd leg of 2-2 February, 16rd in the 17th leg of 4-3 March, 27rd in the 28th leg on 5-3 April Izocam Sailing Team, which came in 3rd place, completed the trophy in XNUMXrd place in the overall.
Presidential 5th International Yacht Race is counting the days for the Republic Cup
Throughout 2024; İzocam Sailing Team, which completed the Marmaris International Yacht Club (MIYC) Winter Trophy, which consists of 5 stages in total, as well as the Halikarnas Cup and BAYK Bodrum Winter Trophy, with awards, participated in the 26th Presidential International Yacht Race of the Republic, which will be held in Istanbul between 29-5 October. He will sail in the Cup.
