Champions Became Certain in the 36th National Re International Insurers Tennis Tournament

While players from the local and foreign insurance markets competed in the 36th tournament, which lasted 3 days, many insurers and brokers came together with the Turkish market.

In the Tournament watched with interest; semi-finalists: Martin Jacquot (Partner Re) – Hüseyin Şahin (Türkiye Hayat Emeklilik) team and İsmail Çelik (Bupa Acıbadem) – Ömer Aktaş (ex-Ankara Sigorta) team. In the Surprise Tournament, the first place was shared by Zeki Gezgez (Quick Sigorta) - Damien Smith (Inigo Insurance) group, while the second place was shared by the Matt Smith (Guy Carpenter) - Emre Aktaş (ex-Guy Carpenter) group.

Winner of the Breathtaking Tournament; It became the group of Frederick Schöneich (New Re) and Deniz Ceylan (Aksigorta). Mahmut Bakır (Gulf Sigorta) and Uğur Biroğlu (Nasco Türkiye) came in second.

Thanks to the Tournament, which has been followed with interest both at home and abroad for many years, foreign reinsurers and brokers related to the Turkish insurance market have the opportunity to be together with insurance companies in a different atmosphere. Held since 1986, the “International Insurers Tennis Tournament” is one of Turkey's longest-term corporate events.

Following the completion of the first day of the tournament, a cocktail reception was held at Miltaş Suadiye Sports Facilities on Friday evening, and a dinner was held at Moda Sea Club, hosted by Gallagher Re, on Saturday evening. The tournament ended with the awards and closing ceremony held on Sunday.
