Stating that they have realized investments, one by one, worthy of a strong and growing Turkey in the last 22 years, Kacır said, “With the strong leadership and determination of our President, we have brought investments worth a century to our country in 22 years. Kacır emphasized that they stand up against those who set up dams and try to block the country's roads, both inside and outside the country, and said, "Our cause is the cause of serving the nation." GUARANTEE OF STRONG STEPS

Kacır stated that, as the Ministry of Industry and Technology, they have issued 22 investment incentive certificates for new or additional investments in Rize in the last 428 years, and that they have paved the way for 18,8 billion liras of fixed investment and more than 16 thousand qualified employment. Kacır stated that they provided 1,3 billion liras of financing for the infrastructure and superstructure works of Rize Organized Industrial Zone (OSB), which is the backbone of planned industrialization in the city, and that they continue their work in the 28 hectare expansion area of the OIZ.
SCIENTISTS OF THE FUTURE
Kacır pointed out that they have completed 22 small industrial sites in the last 3 years and offered modern workplaces with ready infrastructure to SME-scale industrialists operating in the city, and said:
“We created 1900 additional jobs in our industrial sites. On the other hand, we support our SMEs, which are the backbone of Rize's growth and development journey, with all our resources. Until 22 years ago, only a handful of SMEs in our city were benefiting from KOSGEB supports. To date, we have provided 6 million lira of support to more than 700 SMEs through KOSGEB. We quickly healed the wounds of our SMEs affected by natural disasters, especially floods. "We provided 777 million liras of financing to 186 SMEs with a maturity of 207 months, with a grace period of 12 months."
Kacır reminded that they established a Technopark to move Rize further in science, R&D and innovation, and said that they provided 162 million liras of support to 671 projects and 408 scientists within the scope of TÜBİTAK academic, scientist and private sector R&D support programs. Stating that they brought the excitement and enthusiasm of TEKNOFEST to Rize in 2022, Kacır said, "We brought the Deneyap Technology Workshop to our city in order to find the scientists of the future, young people who are interested in science and technology production, and to reveal their capacities." said.
WE WILL ACCELERATE THE DEVELOPMENT JOURNEY
Minister Kacır emphasized that the Science Center, which will be implemented in cooperation with Rize Municipality and TÜBİTAK, will increase the interest of young people in science and technology and continued his words as follows:
“Our center will offer our young people the opportunity to put the theoretical knowledge they have acquired into practice and develop their own projects in the fields of natural sciences, mathematics, technology, design, astronomy, space and aviation. We will offer our science center, which will have a 1700 square meter exhibition, a 500 square meter workshop and planetarium areas, to the service of our youth and our fellow citizens of Rize. As we invest in our youth, make them feel that we trust them, and bring them together with science centers, technology festivals, and youth centers, I believe that many Selçuk Bayraktars and Aziz Sancars will emerge from these lands. "The TEKNOFEST generation will present the new TOGGs, İMECEs, new Altays, Gökbeys, ANKAs, new Bayraktars, Kızılelmas, Hürjets, KAANs to the Turkish nation."
Stating that they provided 181 million liras of support to 433 projects of public institutions, local administrations, universities, private sector and non-governmental organizations in Rize through DOKA, Kacır said that with DOKAP, 10 billion liras were provided to a total of 98 projects of public institutions, local administrations and universities in the last 1,3 years. He stated that they provided support. Kacır noted that they opened 84 projects brought to Rize by DOKA and DOKAP, with a total project size of 10 million liras, and said, “We encourage youth employment with these projects we opened. We bring our young people together with digital competencies. “We ensure the participation of our individuals without disabilities in social life and employment.” said.
In addition, Kacır pointed out that they will sign protocols with relevant organizations for 2024 projects in Rize, with a project size reaching 109 million lira within the scope of the 11 investment program, and said, "We will establish safe transportation by reducing the risk of landslides in our city, support agriculture, animal husbandry and tourism, and educate our youth with science and technology."
