Visit from the Huawei Delegation to the Vice President

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz expressed his satisfaction with Huawei's 22 years of activities in Turkey and the company's commitment to the "In Turkey, For Turkey" strategy. Huawei Senior Vice President and Huawei Europe Regional President Jim Lu stated that they are extremely happy with the fair and open business environment provided by the Turkish government.

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz stated that he is happy to see that Huawei has been investing in Turkey for many years, and stated that Huawei is a good example for Chinese companies producing high technology to invest in Turkey. Asking Huawei to increase its investments in Turkey, Yılmaz stated that they see foreign investments in Turkey as Turkish companies.

During the meeting, Huawei Turkey General Manager Kaya Shi talked about Huawei's operations in Turkey, its localization process, diversity and inclusion, and its social contributions.

Kaya said that Huawei, which has launched various talent development programs such as Seeds for the Future and Informatics Academy to train young talents in Turkey, worked with local business partners to provide disaster relief and rebuild damaged networks after the earthquake on February 6, 2023. Shi also talked about Huawei Turkey's investment plans in the field of green energy developed with local business partners.

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz stated that he was happy to hear about Huawei's new investment plans and to continue supporting Huawei in Turkey.
