International Collaboration in Nursing Research Symposium-2 was Held

"International Nursing Research Collaboration Symposium-2" was held in order to encourage collaborations in nursing research and increase the impact of these researches on practice.

The symposium was attended by Ege University Faculty of Nursing Dean Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Dönmez, vice deans, faculty members, academicians and graduate students attended. Prof. made the opening speech of the symposium. Dr. Ayşegül Dönmez talked about the national and international achievements of the Faculty of Nursing in education and research. He gave information about the faculty's international collaborations and accreditations. He added that the previous symposium was selected as a "Good Practice Example". Head of Department of Public Health Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Şafak Dağhan said that the importance of the nursing profession has been better understood in recent years. He talked about the effects of pandemics, wars and migrations on health. Dağhan emphasized the importance of nursing services and the contribution of nursing research.

Pathways to Follow in Nursing Research

In the first panel of the symposium, "Project Processes in Nursing Research" was discussed. Dr. works as an expert at Ege University Science Technology, Application and Research Center (EBİLTEM). Piret PAAL gave information about "COST Projects and Pathways to Follow in Nursing Research". In the panel titled "Publications, Collaboration and Citation Evaluation in the Field of Nursing", Clarivate Senior Solution Consultant Expert. Derya Soğuksu spoke. Soguksu emphasized the importance of publications, collaboration and citations in nursing research. She gave information about the information that clarivate and Web of Science databases offer to researchers. At the end of the symposium, it was stated that it provided an important platform to develop collaborations in nursing research, brought together researchers from different disciplines and institutions, and contributed to increasing the impact of nursing research on practice.
