Before the Local Government Elections to be held on March 31, 2024 in Edirne's Keşan district, 43 members from CHP, 12 from AK Party and 6 from MHP applied for candidacy for the Municipal Council.
Mehmet Özcan won the CHP primary election held last Saturday. Özcan's candidacy is expected to be approved by the CHP Central Executive Board and announced to the public.
In MHP, Serdar Duman also applied to the MHP Headquarters as a candidate for Keşan Mayor. Regarding the outcome of Duman's candidacy within the framework of the People's Alliance, it is eagerly awaited in political circles.
Candidate applications for the AK Party will end today, and for the İYİ Party will end on January 12.
Before the elections in Keşan, İYİ Party, Saadet Party, DEVA Party, DSP, Memleket Party continue to maintain their silence before the elections.
Meanwhile, the Future Party had determined Aydoğan Ersöz as its Mayoral Candidate and announced it to the public. Ersöz stated that the studies for the candidacy for municipal council membership are continuing.
