China is preparing for mass production of humanoid robots. The development of humanoid robots and their mass production starting from 2025 is one of the priorities of the Chinese government. In a recently published report, the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology called on Chinese companies to accelerate the pace in this regard. The main goal is to create the technology that will enable the production of reliable humanoid robots starting from 2025 and to mass produce them starting from 2027.
Within two years, it is aimed to launch robots that will be able to communicate with people and create a real interaction between humans and machines, in addition to machines that will only do repetitive and drudgery-type tasks. The Ministry thinks that these robots will reach the impact that computers and smartphones have in people's lives today in a few years.
Western experts also predict that mobile phone manufacturers such as Xiaomi will soon come to the fore with their humanoid robots. It is expected that the CyberOne 2025 series, which is being worked on by Xiaomi, will be the first product in this field. Other Chinese technology companies have also intensified their work on humanoid robot technology and it is possible that new products will be launched soon.
