Raise Shock for BUDO: Ticket Prices Increased by 20 Percent

BURULAŞ, a subsidiary of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, last increased the sea bus ticket prices to 175 TL last August. However, with the announcement made today, ticket prices have increased by 20 percent.

With the new increase, the ticket price of BUDO, the sea bus providing transportation between Bursa Mudanya and Istanbul, increased from 175 TL to 210 TL.

The raise decision caused a reaction, especially from the people of Bursa and Istanbul. Many users on social media evaluated the increase decision as "exorbitant".
