A cultural feast took place for three days at the 2nd International Antalya Yoruk Turkmen Festival organized by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality. At the festival that brought the Turkish world together, people of Antalya had the opportunity to get to know the Yoruk culture.
The 3nd International Antalya Yoruk Turkmen Festival, which was held on November 5-2, coinciding with the autumn migration of the Yoruks in Antalya, where Yoruk culture is intense, witnessed great enthusiasm. Bringing the Turkish world together, 25 independent Turkish Republics, 81 Yoruk Turkmen Associations, 25 municipalities at provincial and district levels, foundations and cooperatives, and 36 artists, 8 from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and 44 from women's cooperatives, participated in the festival.
The 2nd International Antalya Yoruk Turkmen Festival, where Yoruk culture was introduced in the best way, hosted a full range of events. A cultural feast took place in the festival area, which was established on an area of approximately 400 decares in Aksu District Solaklı District At Çayırı Location. He added color to the festival with his concerts with famous artists such as Haluk Levent and Elif Buse Doğan.
TRADITIONAL CLOTHES, FOOD AND MUSIC
Yoruks, who set up tents for three days in the festival area where Turkish world folk dances and music performances took place, introduced their traditions and customs. Yoruks created colorful images with their colorful traditional clothes, unique music and food. Those who visited the festival had the opportunity to taste local delicacies. Souvenirs depicting Yoruk culture were exhibited in front of the tents. Guests who wanted to tour the area by riding camels and ponies. Horseback archery demonstrations took the audience's breath away. Yoruk culture was introduced in the talks held in the science tent.
AWESOME EVENTS
On the last day of the Yoruk Turkmen Festival, different events met with citizens on the Oğuz Kaan stage throughout the day. Leading Women Platform Friendship Choir Concert - Crimean Family Dance Group Show, Antalya Azerbaijan Culture and Solidarity Association Folk Dance Team Show, Tabriz Dance Group - Navai Sahra Gonbad Art Institute Folk Dance Show (Iran) provided enjoyable hours for the audience. On the last day of the festival, gifts were exchanged between Uyghur Turks and Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Durmuş Ali Arslan. Uyghur Turks representatives President Muhittin BöcekHe expressed his gratitude to for bringing the Turkish world together in Antalya.

Deputy Secretary General of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, Durmuşali Arslan, thanked the people of Antalya, Yoruk Turkmen Associations and participants from the Turkish world who flocked to the festival for three days and said, "In 2023, we will organize the 2nd International Antalya Yoruk Turkmen Festival, planned in Hıdırellez, the summer migration period of our Yoruks, in 11 provinces." We postponed it due to the devastating earthquake disaster. With the participation of the Turkish World, we held this magnificent festival between 3-5 November during the autumn migration of our Yoruks. We would like to thank all our participants who did not leave us alone.
