Chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Public Works Commission and AK Party Trabzon Deputy Adil Karaismailoğlu stated that they have carried out important work as a commission to find solutions to the problems experienced in public transportation.
Karaismailoğlu stated that they aim to eliminate the uncertainty experienced by tradesmen regarding ownership in the operation of public transportation vehicles, and noted that a bill proposal that will regulate the powers of municipalities in this context is currently in the final stages.
In addition, Karaismailoğlu stated that work is continuing to expand the rail system network in metropolitan cities and the aim is to maximize citizen satisfaction and solve the traffic problem.
Karaismailoğlu expressed his hope that the current regulations will be brought to the agenda of the Parliament before the local elections. The public's opinion on the regulations will also be taken. It is aimed to produce permanent solutions to the problems that may occur in public transportation.
