Deniz, the second cub of the couple Begümcan and Winner, residents of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Natural Life Park, is leaving the nest. 9-year-old Deniz will be the new friend of the male Asian elephant named Gabi, a resident of Gaziantep Natural Life Park.

Deniz, one of the three female cubs of the elephant couple Begümcan and Winner, residents of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Natural Life Park, is going to Gaziantep. Deniz, one of the Asian elephants listed on the list of endangered animals in the world, will continue its life in Gaziantep Natural Life Park upon the request of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality. The sea will be a companion to the male Asian elephant named Gabi, who has been living alone here for many years. By breeding in this way, it is aimed to protect the species, whose numbers are decreasing worldwide. Deniz is planned to be sent to Gaziantep in the coming days.

Deniz, the cub of Begümcan and Winner couple, is the second elephant born in the Natural Life Park after the first female cub named "İzmir". Begümcan and Winner have another female cub named Ege.
