He announced that it increased and the same increases also occurred in Marmaray and Başkentray.

MARMARAY BROKEN A RECORD; OVER 712 THOUSAND PASSENGERS IN MARMARAY IN A DAY

Minister Uraloğlu stated that Marmaray, the main backbone of Istanbul transportation, has transported 1 billion 2 million 617 thousand 736 people to date. Uraloğlu stated that 712 thousand 766 passengers were transported by Marmaray in one day due to the mid-term break and Marmaray broke the record.

THE NUMBER OF DAILY PASSENGERS IN BAŞKENTRAY REACHED 78 THOUSAND

Minister Uraloğlu noted that a total of 78 million 588 thousand 658 people have been transported in Başkentray, which is integrated with other transportation modes in Ankara, since the day it started service. Pointing out that the average daily passenger number in Başkentray increased due to the mid-term holiday, Minister Uraloğlu announced that the daily passenger number increased from 57 thousand 721 to 78 thousand 177.
