Zonguldak Provincial Gendarmerie Command Traffic Gendarmerie Teams, in order to prevent accidents and rule violations occurring at level crossings on the railway network and to minimize accidents; At level crossings, drivers and crossing guards were informed and inspections and checks were carried out.
Within the scope of these inspections and controls, information was given about the physical condition of level crossings, the status of light and sound warning systems, and the drivers' careful and cautious crossing at level crossings. In addition, the necessary information was given to the personnel working at level crossings and they were informed about the measures to be taken to prevent accidents that may occur at level crossings.
It was learned that Zonguldak Provincial Gendarmerie Command will continue to carry out uninterrupted checks and inspections at the level crossings within its area of responsibility.
The purpose of these inspections is to prevent accidents and rule violations at railway level crossings and to minimize accidents. Within the scope of inspections, the physical condition of level crossings and the status of light and sound warning systems are checked and drivers are informed about crossing level crossings carefully and cautiously.
