Skoda unveiled the second generation Kodiaq model with its world premiere. Introduced in 2016 and one of the leading models in the D SUV segment, Kodiaq takes its claim even further with its second generation.

“Skoda is Competing with Itself”

Yüce Auto Skoda General Manager Zafer Başar Next year will be a year full of innovations for Skoda Turkey. We have updates for 7 of our 5 models. While our Scala, Kamiq and Octavia models will be facelifted, the new generations of our Kodiaq and Superb models will be offered for sale in Turkey. In addition to rejuvenating our entire product range, we will bring our fully electric Enyaq model to Turkey next year. With its dynamic and powerful design, the new Kodiaq will play one of the most important roles in 2024, the attack year of our brand. “The new Kodiaq will continue to strengthen its assertive stance in its segment with all its new developments and will add significant strength to our brand.” said.

Strong and solid appearance

The second generation Kodiaq took the emotional design language of the already highly acclaimed SUV model even further. Angular fenders, TOP LED Matrix headlights, horizontal light strips integrated with the front grille emphasize that the new Kodiaq is different at first glance. The rear design of the new Kodiaq features a wider C shape, and the lighting group integrates with crystal elements in a sharp design.

However, by increasing the length by 61 mm and the wheelbase by 3 mm, Kodiaq offers more living space inside. The length of the new generation Kodiaq is 4 thousand 758 mm, its height is 657 mm and its width is 864 mm. The luggage volume increased by 75 liters compared to the previous generation, reaching 910 liters and stands out as the leader of its segment. In addition to its stylish design, the new Kodiaq has also become a more aerodynamic model with a wind resistance coefficient of 0.282 cd.

Sustainable and technological cabin

The new Kodiaq, which has a completely renewed cabin, is equipped with technologies that make life easier. The free-standing infotainment system can be preferred in 13-inch size. However, there will be new Skoda Smart Button controls under the central touch screen. Thanks to this feature, you will be able to easily access numerous features of the vehicle. Featuring a triple rotary knob design, these buttons provide intuitive use as well as high tactile quality. Each of these smart buttons, which can be pressed and turned at the same time, provides easy access to various vehicle functions. Features such as temperature, seat heating/cooling, fan speed, ventilation direction, sound settings, driving modes or map zoom in/out can be managed from these buttons. Kodiaq, which will have indicators reflected on the windshield, can also be preferred with a 10-inch Virtual Cockpit. In the cabin, which has become more stylish and elegant, the living space offers more practicality by moving the gear lever to the steering column.

Versatile engine options

The new Kodiaq offers both high performance and efficiency with different engine options. The engine options of the second generation Kodiaq will include gasoline and diesel engine options, as well as power units with mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid technologies. The plug-in hybrid Kodiaq iV, with a total power of 204 HP, can travel more than 100 kilometers with zero emissions. In the new Kodiaq, the entry-level 150 HP 1.5 TSI unit comes with mild-hybrid technology. In addition, 204 TSI gasoline engines with 265 HP and 2.0 HP and 150 TDI diesel engines with 193 HP and 2.0 HP complete the product range. While all engines have a DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission, four-wheel drive is offered as standard on the engines at the top of the product range.
