'Pro Beach Tour Mersin Stage', organized in cooperation with Mersin Metropolitan Municipality and Turkish Volleyball Federation, ended with all the excitement. The champions of the 'Pro Beach Tour Mersin Stage', where the teams competed fiercely for 3 days and witnessed exciting matches, lifted their trophies at Erdemli Kızkalesi beach. The athletes were also satisfied with the 'Pro Beach Tour Mersin Stage', which started on September 29 and ended on October 1. The athletes expressed their gratitude to Mersin Metropolitan Municipality for organizing such a beautiful organization.

A total of 200 thousand TL prize money was given to the athletes in the beach volleyball held at Kızkalesi Beach. This year, 7 different countries participated in the 'Pro Beach Tour Mersin Stage'; A total of 52 teams, including 12 athletes, 14 women's and 26 men's teams, participated.
Ksenia Mazur and Anna Kelchenko in the women's category; Hasan Hüseyin Mermer and Sefa Uğurlu from Equator Group came first in the Men's Category.

Mazur: “It is really nice to experience the feeling of being a champion”
Ksenie Mazur, from the team that came first in the women's category, evaluated the championship and the tournament; “We are very happy to become champions and participate in this tournament. We would like to thank both the Turkish Volleyball Federation and Mersin Metropolitan Municipality for inviting us here. Yes, we became champions, but we had a really hard time until we became champions. Also, of course, all teams want to be champions, but it was really nice for us to experience this feeling as well. As Ukraine, it was really important for us that the Turkish audience supported us and we felt it too; This is partly because of the war. “We are very happy to feel their support behind us,” he said.
Mermer: “3 days were great”
Hasan Hüseyin Mermer, from the team that came first in the men's category, said, “3 days were great. It was very windy and it became even more difficult for us to play volleyball, but we overcame it and became champions. Being in Mersin has always been beneficial for us. "We are happy to be in Mersin," he said, also evaluating the support of the Metropolitan Municipality; “Playing against Maiden's Castle was a great thing for us, being in a beautiful view and playing on natural sand. "I congratulate the Metropolitan Municipality, they organized a very nice tournament," he said.
Çakmak: “The organization was very good”
Resimye Çakmak, one of the players of the team that came second in the women's category, shared her opinions about the tournament and said, “One of the last tournaments I played was the Mersin Stage. I opened with the Mersin Stage again. The organization was great, it's incredible and everyone is watching the matches and supporting us. We would like to thank the Metropolitan Municipality separately. The organization was excellent. I hope we will be together here again next year, and I would like to thank the Metropolitan Mayor. "Hopefully, we will see each other again next year and I would like to receive the cup from our President at the podium," he said.
