Within the scope of the 100th anniversary events of the Republic to be organized by the Ministry of National Education, village children studying at primary school level in Mardin experienced space travel with the Turkey Century Planetarium Show.
The "Turkey Century Planetarium Show" program was organized by the General Directorate of Special Education and Guidance Services of the Ministry of National Education for children studying in village schools to experience space travel.
Within the scope of the program, 200 primary school students studying in schools in rural areas such as neighborhoods and villages in the central Artuklu district, attended Prof. Dr. He moved to Aziz Sancar Science and Art Center and participated in various activities in the workshops.
The children received information about space from experts and then experienced space in the planetarium.
Students liked the show
Höyüklü Primary School student Elif Beste Özdaş stated that she liked the planetarium very much and said, “I experienced very nice things here. I love space and I'm very curious. "We saw planets like Jupiter and Mars here." said.
Ferhat Kaçan, one of the students who watched the planetarium show, said that he was interested in space and wanted to see the planets closely. Kaçan said, “I want to go to space when I grow up. It was very exciting to be at the planetarium and the program went well. Thank you very much." he said. Hüseyin Eren also stated that he wanted to be an astronaut when he grows up.
