Bayındır Milk Processing Factory, which was implemented by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality based on Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's words "Every factory is a castle", will be opened on October 100 in honor of the 27th anniversary of the Republic. The factory, which will transform the milk it receives from farmers into high added value products such as Izmir mozzarella, buratta and ice cream and market it to the world under the brand "Izmirli", will be able to process 36 million 500 thousand liters of milk annually.

The opening of the giant facility, which was established to encourage production and create employment opportunities in rural areas in line with the understanding expressed by the great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with the words "Every factory is a castle", will be held on Friday, October 100, 27, in honor of the 2023th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey. As part of the opening, Sümer Ezgü, the popular name of Turkish folk music, will give a concert.
100 tons of milk processing capacity per day

It will be operated by. The factory, which was implemented with an investment of 350 million liras, was built on a total area of 6 thousand square meters, of which 18 thousand square meters is closed. The factory employs 130 people and has a daily milk processing capacity of 100 tons. Bayındır Milk Processing Factory will be able to process 250 million 36 thousand liters of milk annually, with a transaction volume of 500 million TL.
From Izmir mozzarella to Izmir ice cream
In the dairy group products of the factory; Apart from kashar, tulum and feta and white cheese, high value added cheeses such as "Izmir mozzarella" and "burrata", which are candidates to become brands in the world market, will be produced. “Izmirli Ice Cream”, which was introduced for the first time at the 92nd Izmir International Fair and was made entirely from goat milk, will also be produced in the factory.
It will be produced in two groups
Products will be produced in two groups at the factory: milk group and dairy group. In the Milk Group, there are UHT Milk Boxes, UHT Milk Bags and Pasteurized Milk Glasses.
In the Dairy Group, Izmir mozzarella (buffalo), burrata (buffalo), white cheese (cow/goat/sheep), feta cheese (goat/sheep), kashar cheese (goat/sheep/buffalo), braid, tongue, tulum cheese (goat). /sheep/buffalo), kashkaval/gruyere cheese (cow/sheep/buffalo/goat), ice cream (buffalo/goat), cream (buffalo), butter (cow/buffalo/goat), yoghurt (sheep/buffalo), ice cream ( goat).
