Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı announced that as of today, simultaneous inspections for meat-meat products, milk-dairy products and egg enterprises have started throughout the country, which will last until October 13.

Yumaklı reminded that in addition to the routine inspections carried out by the General Directorate of Food and Control throughout the year, simultaneous inspections were initiated in order to raise awareness, and that the first of these was carried out at mass consumption places such as restaurants, restaurants, cafes and hotels between 21 August and 8 September, and the second at butcher shops between 12-29 September. He stated that it was carried out for food sales places such as delicatessens, grocery stores, markets and buffets.

Yumaklı stated that as of today, simultaneous inspections have started for meat-meat products, milk-dairy products and egg businesses, which will last until October 13, and gave the following information:

“In addition to our routine inspections, our simultaneous inspections, which will start as of today, will last for two weeks throughout the country. In our audits, in which 7 thousand 628 personnel who are experts in their fields will take part, in the businesses in question; "Emphasis will be placed on issues such as production under technical and hygienic conditions, ensuring traceability and keeping records, and suitability of storage and preservation conditions."

62 THOUSAND 372 INSPECTIONS WERE CARRIED OUT AT FOOD SALES PLACES

Minister Yumaklı emphasized that citizens' consumption of safe and healthy food is of great importance in protecting public health and said, "We are especially focusing on the inspections of food sales places such as butchers, delicatessens, grocery stores, markets and buffets during this period. “We will continue to take all necessary measures to ensure that our consumers can access safe food with peace of mind.” he said.

Sharing the results of the inspections carried out across the country between 12-29 September for food sales places such as butchers, delicatessens, grocery stores, markets and buffets, Yumaklı said, "In the second stage of our simultaneous inspections, 62 thousand 372 businesses such as butchers, delicatessens, grocery stores, markets and buffets were inspected. Penal action was taken against 406 of them. I would especially like to thank our businesses that comply with the rules and protect the health of our citizens in food production and sales places. Our Ministry, as always, will support our consumers and businesses that take care to comply with the rules. In addition, our Ministry's inspections of different sectors will continue without slowing down from now on.” made his assessment.

Minister Yumaklı called on citizens to call Alo 174 Food Line when they encounter a negative situation and said, "This is a civic duty and is of great importance in terms of food safety and consumer interests." he emphasized.
