Konya Metropolitan Municipality is organizing an award-winning photography contest with the theme of "Mevlana and Human" in memory of the 750th Anniversary of the Reunion of Mevlana Celâleddîn-i Rûmî. The deadline for participation in the competition is 17 November 2023.
Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay, as the Metropolitan Municipality, organized various events both in Konya and outside Konya in memory of the 750th Anniversary of the Reunion of Mevlânâ Celâleddîn-i Rûmî. He stated that they tried to commemorate Mevlana properly.
Hz. Noting that Mevlana is one of the most important values of Konya and Turkey, which has become known to the whole world, Mayor Altay said, “We are organizing an award-winning Mevlana and Human-themed photo contest in memory of the 750th Anniversary of Reunion. "We expect all Mevlana's friends who are engaged in amateur or professional photography to participate in the competition, which can include all kinds of photographs that reflect the views of Mevlevi order and Mevlana."

The award ceremony and exhibition of the competition, for which applications will continue until November 17, will be held during Seb-i Arus Week, December 7-17.
