IETT, the leading institution of Istanbul Public Transportation, has signed a new project. IETT, which closely follows developing technologies and continues its efforts to integrate rational ones into Istanbul, has carried out a new study.
Digital Transformation Office was established within the scope of the "Innovative Istanbul Transformation Program" in cooperation with the Istanbul Development Agency.
Within the scope of the project, the integration of hardware such as passenger counting systems, telemetry systems, driver behavior analysis sensors into IETT vehicles was ensured, and driving safety was further increased with additional data received from stakeholders.
Within the scope of the project, in which safe and economical driving parameters were determined, projects such as vehicle occupancy, driver analysis, driver navigation, emergency notification, safe travel and vehicle safety were also implemented.
The project, which was completed in 50 buses, is aimed to be implemented in the entire IETT fleet.
