While the youth center, which was built in 2018 in Görükle, where university students live in Bursa, is used extensively by young people, the Metropolitan Municipality is also adding a youth center within the Görükle campus of Uludağ University.
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, which always prioritizes education and work for young people while implementing projects that will carry Bursa to the future, opened a youth center in Görükle in 2018, so that especially university students can study in a more comfortable and safe environment. The center, which is heavily used by university students with its 24-hour uninterrupted service during exam periods and free internet, tea, coffee and soup offerings, had difficulty meeting the needs, so the button was pressed to bring a second youth center to the region. The Metropolitan Municipality, which offers young people the opportunity to study in comfortable and safe environments with the centers it has opened in different parts of Bursa, is also building a 3-storey youth center with a floor area of approximately 2 thousand square meters on the Görükle Campus. The center, which will include 13 workshops, 2 reading rooms, e-sports center, multi-purpose hall, prayer room, kitchen, cafeteria, lecture hall and open event area, will add value to the campus with its modern architecture.

Reminding that Turkey's future will be shaped in the hands of today's young people, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş said that for this reason, every service provided to young people is also provided for the future of the country. Reminding that they are making great efforts to provide young people with areas where they can study and socialize, Mayor Aktaş said, “For this reason, we attach great importance to projects such as the youth center, public cafeteria and library. We do our best to ensure that our young people spend time in more comfortable and safe environments. The opportunities we offer at Görükle Youth Center, which is still used extensively by our university students, attracted so much attention that it was not enough for our young people. For this reason, we have accelerated our efforts to build a youth center within the Görükle Campus. Our construction continues rapidly. Thanks to the youth center that will serve our university students on campus, our young people will have places to study, workshops where they can carry out their various studies, and a multi-purpose hall where they can do social and cultural activities, all with the service of our Metropolitan Municipality. "This center, which will add a different value to the campus with its architecture, will be an important meeting point for young people," he said.
