New plant and living species were detected in the biodiversity studies carried out in Ihlara Valley by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.

The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change continues its work to protect biodiversity, cultural and natural heritage in 19 Special Environmental Protection Areas. Within the scope of the studies carried out by the General Directorate for the Protection of Natural Assets affiliated with the Ministry, a biodiversity project was initiated to determine the values ​​of the Ihlara Valley in Aksaray, which has been declared a Special Protection Environment since 1990 and hosts many plant species and living creatures. Within the scope of the project, new plant and living species have been identified in the field studies carried out in the region so far.
