Ordu Metropolitan Municipality, which has recently made great strides in the fields of tourism and sports in order to benefit more from the sea, is organizing a 'Surf Festival' to increase interest in surfing, which is among the sports types with high adrenaline levels.
Among water sports, the Metropolitan Municipality, which brought the Water Sports Center in Gülyalı to Ordu under the leadership of Mayor Güler, organized national tournaments, and enlivened the seas by revitalizing sailing and canoe sports, organized the 25 September 5th meeting with the aim of reaching an international status in surfing in order to bring the Black Sea to an assertive position in wave surfing. The festival, which will be held on 25 days between 5 September and 2023 October 2 when the waves are suitable, will be held on Akyazı Beach.
The races will include categories such as the Under-18 Men's-Women's Open Category and the Adults' Men's-Women's Open Category.
