Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Technology Workshops help train individuals who produce and develop technology; It was implemented in order to contribute to reducing foreign dependency in science and technology and to the training of individuals who produce and develop technology.
A student selection exam was held for the new term of the project implemented by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in cooperation with Boğaziçi University. 5.100 students applied to take courses at IMM Technology Workshops. The workshops, where 920 successful students will be accepted, will take courses in many different fields, from coding to artificial intelligence, from robotics to mobile application development. The results will be announced on the website of IMM Technology Workshops.

In the project, which started within the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Directorate in cooperation with Boğaziçi University, the process for the third term education started and the student selection exam was held.
4th and 5th grade students from primary school, 6th and 7th grade students from secondary school, and 9th and 10th grade students from high school applied to IBB Technology Workshops. 5.100 people made a request to take courses via the addressteknolojiatolyeleri.ibb.istanbul. The exams of the post-application workshops will be held by Dr. Dr. and 16 September. It was held at the Architect Kadir Topbaş Performance and Art Center. IMM Deputy Secretary General Murat Yazıcı, Support Services Department Head Barış Yıldız and IMM Youth and Sports Director İlker Öztürk also came to the exam hall and wished success to the students.

The contents of the exam, which was held in five groups over two days, were prepared by Boğaziçi University, with which Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality collaborated in Technology Workshops. In the exam, students' knowledge in Turkish, mathematics and science courses, as well as their algorithm and problem solving skills were measured. After the answers are evaluated, 920 students who are successful in the exam will be accepted to IBB Technology Workshops. Students submit their exam results. Training in the workshops will start in October and last for eight months. The training of primary school 4th and 5th graders will be on the topics of "Computer Science Activities Without Computers, Computer Game Design and Development, Graphic Design and Production", and the training of 6th, 7th, 9th and 10th grade students will be on "Programming". and Coding, Mobile Application Development, Graphic Design, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics Applications, Project Development”.
