Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş reminded that education and youth services are among the primary issues they address, and therefore they provide scholarship opportunities to university and vocational high school students through BURSKOOP. Noting that scholarship applications for the 2023-2024 academic year will be made between September 29 and October 15, Mayor Aktaş said, “This year, we will give a scholarship of 8 lira per month to our university students for 1250 months and a scholarship of 8 lira per month to our vocational high school students for 750 months. At the end of the year, we will provide a total of 10 thousand lira scholarship opportunity to each of our university students and 6 thousand lira scholarship opportunity to our vocational high school students. This means a total of 80 million lira in scholarships. We know that the path to success is through education. For this reason, we are ready to do whatever we can to ensure that our young people focus better on their education and look to the future with more confidence,” he said.
