Touristic sightseeing tours continue to be organized for citizens on the coast in the city center, Ayvacık Suat Uğurlu Dam Lake and Vezirköprü Şahinkaya Canyon with Samsun Metropolitan Municipality's Samsunum-1, Samsunum-2 and Samsunum-3 ships. In June, July and August 2023, 3 thousand 42 passengers were transported by 300 ships. Stating that Samsun has a very important tourism potential, Metropolitan Mayor Mustafa Demir said, "We continue our work in every field for the development of tourism in our city."
Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Anakent Turizm Ticaret A.Ş. It organizes touristic tours for citizens with its 3 ships. Sightseeing tours are carried out on the beach in the city center of Samsunum-1, on the Ayvacık Suat Uğurlu Dam Lake with the Samsunum-2 ship, and in Şahinkaya Canyon in Vezirköprü with the Samsunum-3 Ship. 2023 thousand 42 people participated in the tours organized with these ships in June, July and August 300. Two-deck ships with a capacity of 400 people conduct tours twice a day. Citizens have the opportunity to see unique natural beauties during tours. The interest of citizens participating in ship tours is increasing every year.

We are taking steps to strengthen the tourism infrastructure. At this point, we carry out touristic tours on our ships at 3 points in our city. We see that there is especially great interest from our citizens. Our citizens who participate in the tours see the unique natural beauties of our city and accumulate beautiful memories accompanied by fascinating views. "I invite both our citizens living in our city and local and foreign tourists coming to our city from abroad to participate in these ship tours," he said.
