Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality continues to increase the aesthetics and energy efficiency of the city together by modernizing the lighting systems in many areas, including parks, recreation areas, hobby gardens, social life centers and vehicle underpasses located all over the city.
The Metropolitan Municipality's efforts to improve the quality of life in the city and make a significant contribution to Kayseri's sustainability goals continue at full speed. In this context, the Metropolitan Municipality teams are modernizing the lighting systems in many areas, including parks, recreation areas, hobby gardens, social life centers and vehicle underpasses located all over the city, increasing the aesthetics and energy efficiency of the city.
Metropolitan Municipality Parks, Gardens and Afforestation Department Afforestation and Maintenance Branch Directorate is replacing old-type lighting products and systems with high-efficiency LED lighting products and smart lighting systems in the project it has undertaken to adapt the city's lighting systems to the requirements of the age. With the project, new LED lighting products significantly reduce energy consumption and save the city budget.
On the other hand, less energy consumption reduces the carbon footprint and supports the green future of the city. New generation lighting systems, which are very useful in safe areas of the city, can also be controlled remotely and adjusted according to need, making maintenance more efficient.
With the completion of the project, the Metropolitan Municipality will make the city more than just a source of light, but also a leading city in environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.
