'Science Samsun', organized by Samsun Metropolitan Municipality and aiming to reveal project-based thinking abilities of students by encouraging their aptitude for science, has hosted approximately 50 thousand students since the day it was put into service. Continuing its activities during the summer term, 'Bilim Samsun' started the new academic year with excitement. Stating that Bilim Samsun is a very important educational investment for the city, Metropolitan Mayor Mustafa Demir said, “The horizons of our children studying here will now reach a completely different point. "Our TEKNOFEST generation children will grow up here," he said.

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, which aims to raise children and young people who will keep up with the modern age in science and technology, continues its investments in education. Kent Park, which was created by the Metropolitan Municipality on an area of ​​approximately 2 thousand square meters, located next to SASKİ General Directorate, with walking tracks, playgrounds, 24 cafeterias and activity venues, opened its doors to students as of February 28. The new term has started with excitement as of this week, with the start of the 2023-2024 academic year at 'Bilim Samsun', which continues its activities during the summer term. Students who came to Bilim Samsun from their schools with the new semester experienced great happiness in the workshops they attended.

Within the scope of the cooperation with the Provincial Directorate of National Education, students in the 6-14 age group from the selected schools receive education in the Try-Do, Design, Entrepreneurship, Astronomy, Aviation and Space Sciences, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Smart Agriculture and Technology workshops. Here, students receive practical training from expert teachers in all workshops.

Stating that Bilim Samsun is one of the permanent traces of TEKNOFEST Black Sea in the city, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir said, “It is a very important education investment for our city. It attracted great interest after it became operational. Trainings continued in our center during the summer period. As of this week, the new education period has started. The T3 Foundation determines the curriculum and we operate it as a municipality. We also provide transportation for our students. Children come here with excitement, and both their parents and teachers can see how impressed they are after the training. The horizons of our children studying here will now reach a completely different point. Our TEKNOFEST generation children will grow up here. We want all our students in our city to see this center. "Science is one of the most critical investments made in the name of education in our city of Samsun," he said.

Bilim Samsun Coordinator, Science teacher Cansu Karaman Türk, stated that they provide practical training to the students and said, “Bilim Samsun has hosted approximately 50 thousand students so far. Our children see the applications of the theoretical knowledge they learn at school in our workshops.
