Prepared specifically for the 100th anniversary of the Republic, the musical '1923', which tells the founding process of the Republic starting with the War of Independence and is one of the largest theater productions staged, realized with the contributions of Zorlu Holding and Group companies, was at the 25th Yapı Kredi Afife Theater Awards by Haldun Dormen Özel. He won the award.
The 1923 musical, co-produced by Çolpan İlhan & Sadri Alışık Theatre, Piu Entertainment and Zorlu PSM, and realized with the contributions of Zorlu Holding and Group companies, covers the history of the Republic, from the Bandırma Ferry, where the War of Independence started, to the opening of the Parliament, from the Great Offensive to the founding of the Republic. It tells its story with fantastic elements. The musical, starring successful actors Kerem Alışık, Özge Özder and Ece Dizdar, was brought to the stage with a team of 200 people on and behind the stage and met with art lovers with its eye-catching decor and multimedia design, and continues to meet theater lovers at Zorlu PSM Turkcell Stage this season. .
