Accelerating its growth in Europe, TEMSA delivered 50 MD9 LE model vehicles to UAB Kautra, one of the leading players in the Lithuanian market, to be included in the public transportation lines in the Kaunas Region. Thus, the number of vehicles delivered by TEMSA to the Lithuanian market so far has reached 270.
TEMSA, one of the world's leading bus and midibus manufacturers, strengthens its presence in its priority markets within the scope of its global growth strategy. Continuing to attract the attention of operators in the region with its successful performance in the USA and Europe in recent years, TEMSA made a new delivery of 50 units in Lithuania.
Together with UAB Kautra, one of the country's most rooted passenger transportation companies, TEMSA, which has pulled the rope in the project opened for the Kaunas Region public transportation lines, fulfilled its commitments by completing the deliveries that started in June in August. 50 MD9 LE model vehicles delivered to the region will contribute greatly to the environmentalist transformation of public transportation activities in the Kaunas region with low fuel savings and high driving comfort.
WE ARE STRENGTHENING OUR GLOBAL FOOTPRINT
Making evaluations on the subject, Hakan Koralp, TEMSA Deputy General Manager of Sales, stated that Lithuania is among the priority markets in Europe for them, and said, “We do not build our priority market understanding only according to the size of the country or market scale. As a company that shapes its entire future vision around sustainability, we will continue to grow stronger in every market that integrates environmental and nature awareness into its business culture. In this context, we delivered our electric vehicles, which we produced in Adana with our own technology, to the Lithuanian market in the past years. This time, we will contribute to the transportation needs of the Kaunas region with our 50 environmentally friendly diesel vehicles, in accordance with the needs of the region. On the other hand, with this delivery, the total number of TEMSA branded vehicles we put on the roads in Lithuania reached 270. While reinforcing TEMSA's global footprint with our exports, we also continue to earn foreign currency for our country. We are extremely happy for that," he said.
