Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Erciyes A.Ş. International Erciyes Ultra Sky Trail Mountain Marathon, hosted for the seventh time this year, was awarded to the winners of Europe's highest vertical run.
In the Erciyes Ultra Sky Trail Mountain Marathon, in which 230 athletes from different countries of the world and from all over Turkey participated, the competitors reached the finish at Erciyes Tekir Kapı, while the award ceremony of the competition was held at Tekir Kapı.
The event, which is traditionally organized every year, is hosted by Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş. hosted by the Middle Earth Travel organization, sponsored by Portal Steel Door and Turkish Mountaineering Federation, Turkish Athletics Federation, Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency, Das3917 Hotel, Meysu, Megasaray Hotel, Transportation Inc. It was organized with the support of Kaytur, Argeus Events, KAYMEK, Gökay Suva Travel, Hüma Hospital, Zuber, Nuhun Ankara Pasta.
The VK stage was run on the first day of the Erciyes Ultra Sky Trail Mountain Marathon, in which a total of 230 athletes from Turkey, America, Portugal, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Serbia, Lebanon, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan participated.
In this 1000-meter ascent race, the athletes started from 2 meters at Hisarcık Kapı and challenged the volcanic hills of Erciyes to reach the finish at an altitude of 400 meters at the upper station of the Ottoman facility. As a result of the competitions, Navil Shaimukhametov was first in men, Samet Uysal was second, Aykut Kırsay was third, in women Anastasia Nikolaeva was the first, Rezeda Galyamova was the second, and Halide Kaya was the third.
Athletes fought fiercely in the 64K, 45K, 25K and 12K stages on the second day of the organization. In the 64K Erciyes Ultra Sky Trail, which took place, the athletes were running 64 degrees all around Erciyes Mountain on 360 kilometers of challenging terrain, and the winners of the race on the challenging track were determined.
Accordingly, 12K results for men, 1st Aykut Kırsay, 2nd Bektaş Erdinç Baydar, 3rd Vladimir Khorovinnikov, women, 1st Yüsra Naz Balamut, 2nd Şeyma Fadıloğlu, 3rd Olga Stepanishina, 25K results in men, 1st Navil Shaimukhametov, 2nd Samet Uysal, 3rd Mustafa Ekseri in women, 1st Beyza Güzel, 2nd Halide Kaya, 3rd Gülşah Miyasaoğlu Tülek, 45K results in men, 1st Güngör Özege, 2nd. th Mehmet Arı, 3rd Cenk Serttaş in women, 1st Rezeda Galyamova, 2nd Tatiana Povarnitsyna, 3rd Rojda Sezer, 64K results in men, 1st Hasan Öztürk, 2nd Cevdet Alyılmaz, 3rd place There were no other winners in women, including Umut Erdal and the 1st State Pasin Ulutan in women.
At the end of the competitions, the medals and trophies of the award ceremony organized for the top athletes were presented to Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Erciyes A.Ş. Chairman of the Board Hamdi Elcuman, International Skyrunning Federation representative Paulo Pires, Portal Çelik Kapı Board Member Bekir Söyler, Portal Çelik Kapı Foreign Trade Manager Metin Çavuşoğlu and Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş. It was presented by Deputy General Manager Zafer Akşehirlioğlu.
After the award ceremony, Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş. Chairman of the Board of Directors Hamdi Elcuman thanked Portal Çelik Kapı for sponsoring the 7th International Erciyes Ultra Sky Trail Mountain Marathon, and presented a plaque to Bekir Söyler, Member of the Board of Directors of Portal Çelik Kapı.
