Opel Experimental, the concept car with details about Opel's future, proudly carries the illuminated new Lightning logo at the center of Opel Compass. With its eye-catching exterior design and environmentally friendly structure, Opel Experimental contains clues about the brand's future passenger cars.
The German brand will first position the new “Şimşek” logo on the concept model named “Experimental”. Opel's new concept vehicle with the new logo will meet the public at IAA Mobility, which will be held in Munich between 5-10 September 2023. Details about the concept vehicle named “Experimental”, which will be exhibited for the first time at the IAA, continue to emerge day by day. The first photos reveal the delicate lines and attention to detail on the Opel Experimental. The more technical and exaggerated interpretation of the bold and simple design philosophy reveals the future of the Opel brand.

One of the most striking elements in the first visuals is the further development of Opel Compass, one of the guiding elements of Opel design philosophy. The new illuminated Şimşek sits confidently in the center of the Opel Visor and Compass, the most important design element in the brand's characteristic façade. The wing, which is extended on the horizontal axis, is surrounded by a light signature, while adding more emphasis to the design with the illuminated middle curve. The distinctive red light graphic on the smooth body surface, free of unnecessary curves and lines, is reminiscent of Compass on the rear of the Opel Experimental.
Aerodynamic efficiency has long been a key element of Opel passenger cars. The wing-like design of the wheels reflects the emphasis on aerodynamics in the Opel Experimental as well. Opel's futuristic approach to design continues in the interior. Brand-specific ergonomic seats reveal a sustainable and environmentally friendly approach.
