The last meeting of the TİS, which started on February 27, between İzmir Metro AŞ, affiliated to the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, the employer union Social Democrat Public Employers' Union (SODEM-SEN) and the Railway-İş Union, where the workers working in the metro and trams are organized, did not yield any results. Thereupon, the workers hanged the strike decision on 16 June. With the call of SODEMSEN, another meeting was held yesterday between İzmir Metro AŞ, Demiryol-İŞ Union and SODEMSEN. After this meeting did not yield any results, the workers announced that they would go on strike at 31:05.00 on XNUMX July.
