It has completed the construction of the Archery Hall, designed by the Metropolitan Municipality, which gives importance to 'branch specific' facilities, in order to make Bursa a brand city in sports, as well. The hall, which will be put into service after the landscaping, will be the place where the heart of archery beats in Bursa.
The Metropolitan Municipality, which provides financial and in-kind support to amateur sports clubs in Bursa, renews the existing fields, and is always by the side of the sportsmen with projects such as summer and winter sports schools 'for spreading the sport to the grassroots', continues to bring 'specialized' sports facilities to the city. The Metropolitan Municipality has now added an archery hall to the Shooters, the heart of Bursa's sports, with facilities where football, athletics, swimming, tennis and indoor sports are held. There are two indoor archery halls of 455 and 115 square meters in the project, which is built next to the shooters football fields. With a total of 835 square meters of usage area, indoor and outdoor archery facilities, landscaping and parking, Shooters will also be the place where the heart of archery beats in Bursa. The sports hall, where the construction has been completed, is planned to be put into service in a short time after the landscaping.
New achievements will come
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş, who stated that they have implemented important sports investments with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in order for Bursa to gain a 'sports city' identity, said, “While we support our amateur sports clubs with cash and in-kind aids, on the other hand, we improve their physical conditions. Again, with the help of Belediyespor, we bring our children to the forefront with our summer and winter sports schools. Thanks to all these efforts, the Olympic degrees have started to come. One of the activities carried out in this context is our archery center. Archery is our ancestral sport, but it has also started to attract attention in recent years. The fact that our son, Olympic champion Mete Gazoz, is from Bursa, has seriously encouraged our children in Bursa in this sense. Hopefully, this hall will add a further impetus to the successes in the archery branch. May it be beneficial for our Bursa and our archery community.”
