Şaban and Ayhan Sazkaya, who took the poisonous baran viper, which they found in the tea garden in Rize's Çamlıhemşin district and did not know the species, released the snake back to nature.

The poisonous barn viper, which is endemic in Turkey and is in the minimum risk category in the list of endangered animals, was seen in the Günay neighborhood of the village of Mahalleca in Çamlıhemşin district. Saban and Ayhan Sazkaya brothers, without knowing its type, examined the snake for a while and then released it back to nature.

The baran viper, an endemic snake species seen in the Eastern Black Sea Region, is known as a very docile snake species, although it is venomous. This snake species, which has a length of up to 60 centimeters, does not harm people unless it is stepped on or compressed too much.
