The 2024 promotional meeting of the MCE – Mostra Convegno Expocomfort Fair, which is a worldwide event in the fields of air conditioning, building installation and renewable energy, was held in Istanbul.

The launch meeting of the fair was held at the Venice Palace in the Italian Consulate General with the participation of the Air Conditioning Industry Exporters Association (ISIB), Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Association and RX Italy executives and officials under the auspices of the Italian Embassy.

The meeting, which started with the opening speech of the Italian Ambassador Giorgio Marrapodi, continued with the speeches of Livio Manzini, President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Mehmet Şanal, Chairman of the Air Conditioning Industry Exporters' Association. It was completed with the presentation of the Mostra Convegno Expocomfort Fair by Massimiliano Pierini, General Manager of RX Italy.

Speaking at the launch meeting, İSİB Chairman of the Board Mehmet Şanal stated that the fair is a very important building block for the Turkish Air Conditioning Industry and said:

“The mutual trade volume of our industry between Türkiye and Italy is 1,2 billion dollars. This trade volume created by both countries is a response to the right policies and relations provided over the years. The Mostra Convegno Expocomfort fair, which is held every two years in Italy, is one of the most important fairs in the air conditioning sector in the world. Türkiye took part in the fair held in 2022 with the title of partner country. Minister Mustafa Varank honored us by opening the fair. Turkey was the country with the most foreign participation with 136 companies. We will take a strong place with all of our companies and stakeholders in the MCE Milano 2024 Fair, which will serve the European Union's goals for the next five years to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, increase the share of renewable resources in final energy consumption and increase energy efficiency. We are currently continuing our work in harmonious and strong cooperation with both our Italian counterparts and the Italian Chamber of Commerce Association.”
