Currency Protected Deposit Decision Published in the Official Gazette

With the President's Decision published in the Official Gazette; The withholding tax exemption applied to Currency Protected Deposit accounts has been extended until the end of the year.

With the decision published in the Official Gazette with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the withholding tax exemption applied to currency-protected deposit accounts was extended until 31 December 2023.

The withholding tax rate applied to foreign currency deposit accounts was increased to 25 percent.
