The Entrepreneurship Center İzmir, implemented by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality in cooperation with TÜSİAD, has determined the theme for 2023 as "Information Technologies Program". The Entrepreneurship Center İzmir, which was established by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality in cooperation with TÜSİAD to guide İzmir's entrepreneurship transformation, has determined the theme of 2023. After the themes of Agricultural Entrepreneurship in 2021 and Smart and Sustainable Transportation in 2022, Information Technologies was chosen this year. With the Information Technologies program, it is aimed to realize innovative business ideas in the sub-sectors of Disaster Management and Emergency, Smart Cities, FinTech, and Green Deal Compliance (Sustainability). With the program, where everyone between the ages of 18-40 can access the application conditions and application form at "girisimcilikmerkezi.izmir.bel.tr", it is aimed to encourage innovation and to produce solutions regarding the problem areas of the city.

Entrepreneurial teams who qualify for the program have access to services provided by the Center free of charge. These include mentor support, one-on-one consultancy, trainings and workshops, regular follow-up of entrepreneurs and projects, access to the Fabrication Laboratory İzmir, where the necessary equipment for R&D is located, promotion of successful business ideas of the program participants to the public, and referrals to suitable programs within the scope of the entrepreneurs' projects. taking.
From agriculture to transportation and informatics
The Center's theme for 2022 was determined as Smart and Sustainable Transportation, aiming to carry out works on a different theme every year, taking into account the strategic priorities of Izmir. The Smart and Sustainable Transportation theme determined for 2022; It was carried out as two different programs, "Develop Your City" in cooperation with Ford Otosan and WRI Turkey, and "Smart and Sustainable Transportation #2" in cooperation with İnci Holding. The theme was determined as Agricultural Entrepreneurship Program in 2021.
