The “Sluggish Canoe Turkey Cup Races” held in Eskişehir with the cooperation of the Turkish Canoe Federation and the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality witnessed great excitement.
In the races held in Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Sarısungur Pond, 29 athletes from 283 teams from all over Turkey competed. In the second day races, before the final stage of the races, the athletes who came first in many categories were determined. Mehmet Ali Duman, the successful athlete of Eskişehir Metropolitan Youth and Sports Club, finished the races with the first place in the Adults and U23 Men's C1 500 and 200 meters categories. The first medal was presented to Duman by ESKİ General Manager and Turkish Canoe Federation Board Member Oğuzhan Özen and Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Services Department Head Mehmet Ali Çeliksoy.
On the last day of the races, the excitement of the final took place. In the finals, where there was a great struggle, the athletes who ranked in the finals received their medals and the clubs their cups; Turkish Canoe Federation President Alper Cavit Kabakçı, Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality ESKİ General Manager and Turkey Canoe Federation Board Member Oğuzhan Özen, Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Services Department Head Mehmet Ali Çeliksoy and protocol members.
After the ceremony, a group photo was taken to commemorate the day.
