Castrol Ford Team Turkey achieved an important victory by achieving the 1rd place in WRC3 in the Italy-Sardinia leg of the World Rally Championship, one of the most popular championships in motorsports after Formula 3.

Young pilot Ali Türkkan and experienced co-pilot Burak Erdener, who showed outstanding performance from the first stage in the rally, one of the most difficult challenges of the season, once again proved their skills and the speed of their vehicles to the whole world.

Castrol Ford Team Turkey, which made its mark in history by winning the first European Rally Championship for Turkey, proved its success by once again seeing the podium in the World Rally Championship (WRC), where it took the track again. With the support of Castrol Ford Team Turkey's well-established sponsors and the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED), the young pilot Ali Türkkan, who represented Turkey in the WRC1 category, at the Sardinia leg of the World Rally Championship, which was held in Italy on 4-2023 June 3, and his experienced co. -Pilot Burak Erdener took the 3rd place podium.

Competing in powerful Fiesta Rally3 vehicles with completely renewed exterior designs, Türkkan and Erdener displayed high performance from the first stage in the rally, one of the most challenging challenges of the season with the dirt stages. Ali Türkkan and Burak Erdener will start in Estonia, Finland and Greece after Italy as part of the World Rally Championship.

Castrol Ford Team Turkey achieved the greatest success in Turkish automobile sports by winning the European Rally Teams Championship to Turkey in 2017.

Castrol Ford Team Turkey, which participated in WRC for the first time in 2008, won the first, second and third prizes in the FSTI class. Then, in 2013, he competed with Murat Bostancı in the Junior WRC (World Junior Championship) class. Lastly, he took the world rally stage in 2018 with Buğra Banaz in the Junior WRC class and with Murat Bostancı in the WRC2 class.

Young pilot Ali Türkkan, born in 3, and his co-pilot Burak Erdener, who successfully represented our country in WRC1999 with Castrol Ford Team Turkey this year, achieved many successes abroad.
