The Barrier-Free City Balıkesir Workshop will be held on Thursday, June 8, hosted by Balıkesir City Council.
At the Barrier-Free City Balıkesir Workshop, which will be organized by the Barrier-Free City Council of Balıkesir City Council at the Courtyard Culture and Congress Center and will start at 09.30; “Family and Barrier-Free Life”, “Culture, Art and Sports”, “Accessibility in Urban Design”, “Barrier-Free Employment”, “Health”, “Accessible Digital World”, “Education”, “Disaster and Disaster-Free Life”, “ Disability Law” will be discussed.
After the framework presentation, in which Actress-Writer Ceyda Düvenci will share her experiences and experiences on living without disabilities, opening and protocol speeches will be made in the first part of the program, and in the second part, the "Accessible City Balıkesir" panel will be held. Speakers of the panel are Turkish Spinal Cord Paralytics Association Chairman Semra Çetinkaya, World Freediving Record Holder Ufuk Koçak, Painter Eşref Armağan, Balıkesir Metropolitan Belediyespor Wheelchair Basketball Team Player Esra Şentürk and Lawyer Cüneyt Altıparmak from the Union of Turkish City Councils. After the panel, in the program where roundtables will be held on the themes mentioned, an exhibition will also be held where the works of Painter Eşref Armağan will be exhibited.
