Darüşşafaka Robot Teams Reinforced Their Success With Awards

Darüşşafaka Society Robot Teams, which became a pioneer in its field by establishing the first robot team among high schools in Turkey and continued its success by multiplying, reinforced their success with the awards they received in both high school and secondary school level competitions.

Darüşşafaka High School students are the Turkish Champion in the Robotex International National Tournament in the “Maze Solving Robot” category; Ranked 3rd in Turkey in the "Nordic Girls' Firefighting" and "Fast Line Follower Robot" categories; Darüşşafaka Secondary School Robotics Team embraced the first prize in the 2nd Istanbul Secondary School Local Tournament with their robot performances, robot design and innovative projects they developed.

Darüşşafaka High School students took part in the 2023 season tournament of Robotex International, the world's largest robotics competition, with the robots they developed in three different categories. The teams that succeeded in the regional tournament of Robotex International, which pioneered children and young people to increase their interest in science and engineering and to work in the fields of engineering, were entitled to participate in the National Tournaments held in Antalya on April 29-30.

In the Maze Solving Robot category at the National Tournament held in Antalya, Darüşşafaka students succeeded in becoming the Champion of Turkey by solving the maze the fastest with the robots they developed. Students also ranked 3rd in Turkey in the categories of "Nordic Girls' Firefighting" and "Fast Line Follower Robot", designed for firefighting, designed for female students and aiming to encourage female students to develop their engineering and technology skills.

All teams from Darüşşafaka won a ticket to the international tournament to be held in Estonia in November 2023 with their success.

In the Turkish leg of the FIRST LEGO League Challenge program, which is implemented in 98 countries around the world with the intention of raising a youth who has self-confidence, questions, and can produce solutions to social problems as a team, the II. In the Middle School Local Tournament, Darüşşafaka Middle School Robot Club Panic At Dacka team won the national championship ticket. Darüşşafaka Middle School Robot Team, which won the championship prize among 19 teams with its robot performances, robot design and innovative projects, had the chance to participate in the national tournament in the competition held on April 29.
