Work continues on the Gastronomy Street project, which is one of the investments made in the field of gastronomy in the UNESCO-registered Gastronomy city of Afyonkarahisar. The construction level in Gastronomy Street, the product of our Mayor Mehmet Zeybek's work, has reached 50%.

In Gastronomy Street, one of the vision projects that will befit the Gastronomy City Afyonkarahisar, our local delicacies will be offered to local and foreign visitors for sale and appreciation. Work on the project, which will support and shape both commercial and social life in Afyonkarahisar, has been halved.

WE WILL OPEN OUR GASTRONOMY STREET THIS SUMMER

Our Mayor Mehmet Zeybek, who stated that efforts are continuing to open it in the summer months, in his speech on the subject; “This was the Provincial Food Control Laboratory under the Ministry of Agriculture. After moving to its new location, we got the allocation of this area from the Ministry of Agriculture and developed the gastronomy project. Together with our works, it will be a place where both the production and promotion of our local products, which are suitable for the historical texture, will be made. Visitors will be able to see how the registered products of Afyonkarahisar, the City of Gastronomy, are made, and also shop. Our construction continues rapidly. Hopefully, we will put our Gastronomy Street into service this summer.”

13 SEPARATE FACILITIES WILL PROVIDE SERVICE

More than 35 flavors of the Gastronomy City Afyonkarahisar will be presented to the visitors with this project. Gastronomy Street, which will be put into service after the works to be completed in a short time; It consists of 4 blocks and 13 social facilities. The project, which has a total area of ​​500 square meters, will make the region a center of attraction. Gastronomy Street, which was designed with the aim of developing the neighborhood tradesmen and will be the first in Turkey, will be put into service in a short time.
