Instrument support was provided for the music class of Vecihi Hürkuş Anatolian High School in the district with the project “One Bricks for Education, From Us” carried out by Keçiören Municipality within the scope of education support. With the participation of Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok, the students also held a mini music concert with the musical instruments delivered.
In his speech addressed to students and teachers, Mayor Altınok stated that they provided support to schools in the district and throughout Ankara, as he became the Mayor of Keçiören, and thus paved the way for other local governments to support education, and said, “We spend our nation's money for our nation and for the future of our youth. The municipality that entered the schools for the first time in Turkey is the Municipality of Keçiören. In the past, we have done the landscaping of many universities, especially Gazi, Ankara and Hacettepe universities. In the garden of the schools, there were signs with the words "The landscaping of this area was done by the Keçiören Municipality". You will rule our country in the future. That's why you have to work hard. You can't be successful without working hard and sweating. We must prepare our children for the future in the best possible way. For this reason, we strengthen our schools in terms of culture, art, library and laboratory equipment.” he said.
