Istanbul Minerals and Metals Exporters' Association (IMMIB) is implementing the EYE (Empowering Youth by E-Commerce) project, which is supported by the European Union and is of great importance for Turkey's future. The grant contract of the project was signed by IMMIB Coordinator President Adil Pelister in Ankara.

EYE Project, which prepares young people for the future, aims to provide digital skills and sectoral information to young people between the ages of 22-29 who are not involved in education and employment. The signing ceremony of the EYE project, implemented by İMMİB and supported by the European Union, was held in Ankara with the participation of İMMİB Coordinator President Adil Pelister and EU and Financial Aid Department Head Süreyya Erkan.

Stating that he believes that empowering young people with education and practical skills is the foundation of a successful future, İMMİB Coordinator President Adil Pelister emphasized the increasing importance of digital marketing in our foreign trade and said, "While raising young people in this field, they contribute to sustainable economic growth, while gaining an advantage in global competition and improving the potential of our country's foreign trade. We support increases. With the EYE project, we aim to increase the employment of our youth by providing them with the skills they will need. İMMİB, which has a wide network of members and is Turkey's leading exporter association, will offer new opportunities to our youth with the aim of revealing this potential. With the project, which has very important and comprehensive goals, 100 young people will be supported with comprehensive trainings including digital marketing, foreign trade and social skills. In the project, where the application is at the forefront, young people will be given the opportunity to match with companies. On the other hand, it is planned to establish a center within Istanbul University that will serve young people on their career journeys. Through this structure, it will be aimed to match the supply and demand between the workforce and SMEs in the field of digital marketing. Thus, IMMIB will build a bridge between the academy and the business world and contribute to the development of competencies for the needs of the sectors.”

As of June 1, 2023, the project is planned to officially start its activities.
