Divers from Izmir Fire Department's Water Search and Rescue Team mobilized to find Baran Aslantaş, Azad Demiral and Mehmet Can Demiral, who were lost in Tunceli Munzur Stream. 5 divers are struggling to find 3 missing people in the cold waters of Munzur Stream.

Divers affiliated with the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department Water Search and Rescue Team support the work carried out in the region to find Baran Aslantaş, Azad Demiral and Mehmet Can Demiral, who disappeared in Tunceli's Munzur Stream. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality divers, working together with Tunceli Fire Department and firefighters from other provinces, have been working in the region for days to find 6 missing people in the Munzur Stream, whose flow rate increases from time to time and the water temperature is about 3 degrees Celsius.

Divers scan the bottom with a sonar device that works with sound waves and detects the size, distance and data of objects under water. According to the data obtained from the sonar device, diving is carried out in suspicious places in the Munzur Stream. Divers also scan over running water. In regions with high water flow, a line is drawn to the opposite shore and dredging is carried out with a rafting boat. Work continues on a 45-kilometer line.

The car has been reached

On April 21, 3 people who came to Tunceli's Ovacık district from Diyarbakır crashed into Munzur Stream by car. The vehicle, which was submerged last Tuesday, was found under a rock 200 meters from where it fell. The search for the 3 missing persons continues uninterrupted.
