China's Ministry of Finance announced that it will provide just-in-time subsidies to grain-producing farmers to stimulate grain production. The central government has allocated ten billion yuan ($1,46 billion) thousand funds to subsidize grain producers as needed, taking into account the cost of agricultural material and the state of agricultural production.

These subsidies will be given to those who are currently grain producers. These include agriculturists planting grain on leased lands or on their own land, large family groups cultivating grain on inherited lands, family farms, farmer cooperatives, agricultural firms and other agricultural business units, as well as individuals and organizations that provide essential services to grain production.

According to the ministry's statement, the goal of this official decision is to support spring agricultural production and to direct farmers more towards grain production. On the other hand, it was also stated that these subsidies will be given on time and all at once.
