There's a lot to come while the movie is here! The film will continue the story of Uhtred, and according to the synopsis, he will have to decide whether his loyalty is to the new King of England or to his homeland of Northumbria. When King Edward dies, peace in the country is threatened as his "two potential heirs" Aethelstan and Aelfweard fight for the throne.
Aethelstan was Uhtred's guardian, but soon realizes that the young prince is not the young boy he knew and "has fallen under a dark influence". Elsewhere, Danish Warrior-King Anlaf arrives to cause trouble. Will the UK unite? We'll find out soon!
